Moxie Manifest believes in goal setting.
Big goals, in part, are what gave birth to our business. There is outstanding power in planning and curating a clear vision for your future. But the work does not stop at setting your goal.
As powerful, if not more, are our daily habits.
What you do each day as an entrepreneur becomes your system. Your systems will ultimately determine if you reach your goals, applicable to both personal development and the success of your business.
✨ Consider this - If there is a gap between your goal and your systems, your system will determine the actual outcome every time.
To turn your goal into a reality:
Clearly define what you aim to accomplish
Set a timeline for this achievement
Break your big goal down into smaller bite size segments
Commit to daily habits that will propel you
Example:
🏃♀️ A clear goal - You will run a marathon
🗓️ Timeline - Your race is in 6 months
🍴 Bite size goals - You can’t run 13 miles tomorrow. But you can follow an online marathon training program for first time runners!
Daily habits may include:
Commit to the training program each morning (do the hard thing first)
Sleep in your running clothes
Put your water bottle by the door
Create systems that serve you on your worst day.
In the example above, even if you wake up feeling unmotivated, you still woke up in your running clothes. Your water bottle is still by the door waiting for you. And your training program is going to tell you exactly what you need to do.
On your worst day - this system requires you to do no more than put one foot in front of the other!
